Christmas at Sikayhulisa Abantwana

Posted in Uncategorized, charity, donate, orphans, siyakhulisa abatwana by Coach Frankie

What a delight it is to see the children at the Orphanage of Nurturing the Children aka Sikayhulisa Abantawana enjoying themselves. I highly encourage ANYONE whose children complain about not getting enough at Christmas to witness the joy on these childrens faces when they get a new t-shirt or dress.

Look at how they clap for one another in their joy. So beautiful.. I am moved to tears. Soon, the widget will work again on their site, so I will encourage you then to go back and donate if you can.. thanks..frankie

Go Bananas

I am so excited to share with you an update from my good buddy Kevin Allen aka the Banana Man’..

One evening when Kevin’s family had gone out, he found himself sitting in his comfy chair in front of the telly watching whatever programs that came on because his remote was not next to him and he had no little kiddies around to fetch it for him.

Giving into his lazyiness, Kevin became absorbed in a Documentary that had come on. Now normally this is NOT the kind of show that would have kept his attention for more than the time it would take to CLICK the remote, but given that he was ’stuck’, he watched on.

Eventually, his emotions became such that he actually found himself crying over the plight of a little boy who had just found out that his father , his only living relative, had succumbed to AIDS and died, leaving him an orphan. This little boy had to walk home for miles and when he got there, he would find an empty hovel, with no food, no water and no one to look after him.

Thinking of his own children, Kevin found that he couldn’t in good conscience do nothing.

He had never been a social activist, but within 3 days, Kevin had left his home in London, and travelled to Zululand to find this little boy… if you want to know more.. please purchase his book

Proceeds from the Sale of this VERY ENGAGING book will help feed the children. Amazingly enough, only $80.00 US dollars will provide 1000 meals of fresh fruit to school children for a month.. WOW, how can you NOT feed these kids..

PLEASE HELP KEVIN MEET HIS GOAL OF £40,000 - THIS WILL FEED 1 MILLION SCHOOL MEALS

Just back from a recent trip, Kevin shares some smiles with us.
